IC 5070 or The Pelican Nebula is vast HII emission region next to the North America nebula, in the constellation Cygnus.

Shot in narrowband SHO palette, the vast colorful emission region is covered by a foreground molecular cloud forming an intricate texture of dark filaments.

The image is the result of 13.5 hours integration (4.5hrs each channel)
